Nick Scott

Nick Scott is the executive director of the NB Social Policy Research Network, a partnership between the Government of New Brunswick and the four publicly-funded universities in the province.  The Network’s mission is to advance citizen engagement and an evidence-based approach to policy development through cross-sectoral collaboration.

 

Recently the Network launched the GovMaker Conference to explore the benefits of open data and open government for New Brunswick.

In May 2012 Dawn Arnold was elected as Councillor at Large for the City of Moncton.

 

The recipient of the Order of New Brunswick, the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and the YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award, is a proud Monctonian who believes in giving back to her community.

Dave Finley, P.Geo, Manager – GeoNB, Service New Brunswick

 

Dave brings a multi-faceted perspective and customer-centric focus to development work. His career has included stints working for government in two provinces as well as time spent in the private sector working for multi-nationals, consulting firms, academia, and R&D organizations. 

 

He has been Manager of the provincial land information infrastructure since 2001 and is the impetus behind GeoNB – an internationally acclaimed, award-winning spatial data infrastructure. GeoNB is recognized as the Government of New Brunswick’s best example of open data.

David Finley

Jake Arsenault is a high-tech entrepreneur. His related areas of interest include marketing, team building and new product creation.

 

He has a PhD in engineering from the University of New Brunswick (UNB). Jake also founded Inversa Systems, and is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence at UNB.
